What does the myRAC app offer members who have RAC Breakdown Cover?

The myRAC app is free for RAC Breakdown members. It also makes managing your car simple and gives you complete peace of mind wherever you are.

RAC UK & European Breakdown Cover is included with our Everyday Extra packaged bank account.

The Privilege Premier accounts, which are no longer available to new or upgrading customers, also include this cover.

I need to report my breakdown to the RAC

Report a breakdown using the app, it's the quickest way to get help

No need to call or look for forms online. Just report your breakdown in the myRAC app by sharing a few details, and they’ll start finding a local patrol for you straight away. Once you report, you will:

  • get a confirmation text

  • receive regular updates on your patrol’s arrival.

  • Find the cheapest fuel near you

    Whether you’re home, or on the road, the myRAC app will help you save money, and fill up for less.

  • Get service, MOT and tax reminders

    The myRAC app will send you reminders for all the important dates in your car’s calendar, helping you stay on top of things like MOTs, services, and other key service checks.

Get winter road ready, download the myRAC app

Setting up the app is quick and easy. You'll need to enter some details including your:

  • name and date of birth

  • email address

  • the postcode or PO box that is registered to your bank account

  • car registration (optional)

Make sure your details match your Everyday Extra or Privilege Premier bank account.

The app will automatically link your details to your existing RAC cover. You can use the link below to go direct to the app store. Alternatively, download by scanning the QR code.
